Créée pour être une lueur d’espoir pour les peuples opprimés dans le monde et promouvoir l’accès à la justice pour les citoyens dont les gouvernements ne veulent pas ou ne peuvent pas poursuivre, la Cour pénale internationale (CPI) a reçu des éloges et des condamnations dans des proportions égales. Il est toutefois intéressant de noter que ces réactions émanent principalement de dirigeants politiques. Les voix des victimes visées par la justice de la CPI ont été largement ignorées. Après les élections générales de 2007/2008, le Kenya a sombré dans des violences post-électorales qui ont fait près de 1 300 morts. Six Kenyans ont été inculpés de crimes de guerre liés aux violences post-électorales par la CPI. Quelle a été la réaction des victimes à ces inculpations ? La CPI a-t-elle rendu justice aux victimes kenyanes du PEV ? A-t-elle respecté les procédures régulières en inculpant ces six Kényans ?
